X, Y, Z CHAIRS

In its simplest terms, a chair consists of a seat, a back, and legs. In this series, various geometric forms were explored.

Comfort in a chair can be achieved with two flat planes if the seat is inclined properly in relation to the floor and the back is angled properly in relation to the seat. A chair can thus be created from a single plate, bent at the division between seat and back, and placed in a skeletal frame. Stable support for the seat and back element can be furnished by a four-leg frame, elevating it a comfortable distance above the floor.
