FOLDED HANDLE
A door handle is an object that allows interaction between architecture and user. With current accessibility regulations, lever handles for doors—rather than knobs—have become the universal standard. Lever handles have traditionally been designed as decorative hardware. A simpler solution, however, seems desirable.
By simply folding a rectangular plate on a slight diagonal, a form comfortable to the hand can be made. This form is equally effective for turning a latch or as a single pull on a door with a magnetic or ball catch.
